PC*MILER|FuelTax Updates and Patches

The tax rates and tax forms included in PC*MILER|FuelTax are updated on a quarterly basis. Users are notified via email when an update is available to download and install. To make sure all applicable parties in your organization receive email notifications regarding the availability of an update, please email sales@pcmiler.com with applicable names and email addresses.

PC*MILER|FuelTax quarterly updates are available approximately on or about the first business week of the month following the end of each quarter. The update schedule follows this general rule:

• .0 Version/Q3 filing — available in the beginning of October
• .1 Version/Q4 filing — available in the beginning of January
• .2 Version/Q1 filing — available in the beginning of April
• .3 Version/Q2 filing — available in the beginning of July

This update includes the following items:

• Updated tax rates and forms to process Q1 2012 filing requirements

The following self-extracting zip file contains the files necessary to install PC*MILER|FuelTax 17.2. It is set to unzip to C:\Ft172cd directory.  Please be certain that the PC*MILER|FuelTax program is not running before unzipping. Once the file is done unzipping, it will automatically run the setup.exe to download and install the update files.

PC*MILER|FuelTax 17.1 4Q 2011 Update with GA Tax Rate Patch Included

This update includes the following items and replaces the 01/09/2012 update version:

• Updated tax rates and forms to process Q4 2011 filing requirements with
  corrected Georgia Tax Rates

This update version includes the files necessary to install PC*MILER|FuelTax 17.1 and process Q4 2011 filing requirements.  It also includes the corrected Georgia Tax Rates, as the originally released files (dated 1/9/2012) had the wrong rates for Georgia listed. 

For those who have already installed the 1/09/2012 update version you will need to re-download and re-run this new update version.  If you received a shipped CD of the v17.1 install materials, it does not include the tax rate correction.  You must download the corrected file here.  If you need assistance please contact PC*MILER Technical Support. 

The following self-extracting zip is set to unzip to C:\Ft171cd directory.  Please be certain that the PC*MILER|FuelTax program is not running before unzipping. Once the file is done unzipping, it will automatically run the setup.exe to download and install the update files.

The following self-extracting zip file contains the files necessary to install PC*MILER|FuelTax 17.0. It is set to unzip to C:\Ft170cd directory.  Please be certain that the PC*MILER|FuelTax program is not running before unzipping. Once the file is done unzipping, it will automatically run the setup.exe.

NOTE: You must obtain a password directly from PC*MILER’s Technical Support Team before you can unzip this particular downloaded file and install.  All users will also be shipped an Install CD of PC*MILER|FuelTax 17.0.  If you download the update files directly from this website you do not need to reinstall the update using the Install CD.

PC*MILER|FuelTax 16.3 Patch

This update includes the following items:

• A correction Owner Operator Tax Credit Report’s Fuel Tax/Credit column where it’s reporting incorrect Unit information and Grand Totals
• A correction to the Illinois IFTA Form where information could not be typed into the Georgia split tax row
